Welcome to BTBJ’s Shabbaton Registration!

Shabbaton will be hosted at Camp Harlam, Friday-Sunday, January 24-26, 2025. It is a rain, snow or shine weekend celebrating community and family, an opportunity to disconnect from technology and connect with family and friends all set in the beautiful and simple magic of camp. Religious school age kids will earn Kehillah credits for attending Shabbaton. Program offerings are designed for all members of our community.

Shabbaton begins at 5pm on Friday, January 24, and will conclude by 11am on Sunday, January 26. Camp Harlam is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from our area. It is our preference for attendees to stay the entire weekend, as it makes the weekend a richer experience. However, there is an option for staying over Friday night only. A packing list and schedule will be provided in advance of the weekend.

Lodging and Fees

There are 2 different types of accommodations. There are also several different lodging buildings and spaces to which we will have access. We will do our best to meet your requests and preferences. At least ONE parent per family must be in attendance. All rooms and spaces we will be utilizing are heated. Prices include lodging, all meals, snacks and activities.

Bunks-Kids: Bunks are for all kids 2nd grade and up. They are a great space for the kids to bond and connect. Bunks are single sex and will be divided by ages. The cost is $150 for the entire weekend. The cost for staying one night is $85.

Bunks-Adult/Teen Chaperone: Bunks do require adult or older teen chaperones to help with managing bedtime, morning routines, and getting to activities on time. If you have children who will be staying in the bunks, we strongly encourage you as the parents to also stay in the bunks. It is actually a fun experience! The cost is $140 for the entire weekend (a little discount as an incentive!) The cost for staying one night is $85.

Private Rooms: Private rooms are reserved for 2 adults or adults with young children who are too young to sleep in the bunks. Older teens (9th grade and up) may also stay in private rooms if they are available. There are a variety of different size private rooms that can accommodate 2-4 persons. Private rooms are priced by the room and not the number of occupants. The cost is $280 for the entire weekend. The cost for an individual staying one night in a private room is $150. Priority will go to full weekend guests.
