Cantor Benjamin Greenfield

Benjamin Greenfield, a native of Annapolis, Maryland, with over 10 years of cantorial experience, is currently a Rabbinical student at the College of Reconstructing Judaism. He received his Bachelor’s degree in music performance from Baldwin Wallace University and served as the Cantor at Temple B’nai Abraham in Elyria, Ohio.

Cantor Greenfield returned to Maryland and pursued graduate coursework in vocal performance/pedagogy at the Peabody Institute as well as in Judaic Studies at the Baltimore Hebrew Institute of Towson University.  He maintained an active musical life by performing lead roles in both opera and musical theater, and as a soloist in choral repertoire.
