The Art of Calligraphy with Carrie Walinsky
Carrie Walinsky is a Philadelphia artist who designs unique ketubot tailored to the aspirations of married couples. She has worked at the arts center at Camp Ramah in the Poconos for the past 23 years. Carrie currently teaches calligraphy to the teens at Ramah. Calligraphy is the skill of scribal arts. Carrie will teach us how to write the Hebrew alphabet with the flair of the calligraphic pen. Come knowing your Hebrew name and the Hebrew names of your parents and Carrie will teach you how to write them.

The Whys and Making of Kippot: Join with Rabbi Roni as we learn about the “whys” of Kippot and make our own and one for another which we will donate.
Wednesday, April 1, 2020—6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
Mindy Shapiro of Personalized Papercuts will be with us for a workshop where Mindy will be teaching us the art of and basic skills of paper cutting. We will be creating something special for ourselves and another!
